David Fennessy (1976) je jedan od najistaknutijih evropskih kompozitora mlađe generacije, laureat i stipendista brojnih fondacija uključujući i prestižnu “Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award ”, njegova dela se osim u Irskoj i V. Britaniji redovno pojavljuju na pozornicama širom Evrope u izvođenju vrhunskih ansambala kao što su frankfurtski “Ensemble Modern”, “London Sinfonijeta” kao i simfonijski orkestar BBC. Od 2005. godine radi kao profesor kompozicije na Škotskoj kraljevskoj akademiji u Glazgovu.

 

David Fennessy (1976) is one of the most prominent European composers of the younger generation, laureate and scholarship recipient of numerous foundations including the prestigious „Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award“. His works, except in Ireland and the UK, regularly appear on stage throughout Europe in performings of the top ensembles such as the Frankfurt Ensemble Modern, the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Since 2005 he has been working as a professor of composition at the Scottish Royal Academy in Glasgow.
