Ptolemaios Armaos je rođen 1993. godine u Atini. Diplomirao je na „Nacionalnom konzervatorijumu“ u klasi Elene Papandreou i prof. Vaggelisa Boudounis za kamernu muziku. Postdiplomske studije imao je na Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz u Kelnu (Nemačka), kod prof. Roberta Aussela.
Usavršavao se na seminarima kod gitarista kao što su Roland Dyens, Oscar Ghiglia, Marco Socias i Hubert Kappel.
Dobitnik je prve nagrade na: Nacionalnom takmičenju za mlade gitariste na 7. Veria gitarskom festivalu (maj 2008.), 1. Nacionalnom takmičenju za mlade gitariste konzervatorija Himettus (februar 2009), 11. Zimski međunarodni gitarski festival Konzervatorija Foundouli u Volosu (Januar 2010) i 2. međunarodno gitarskog takmičenja 9. Veria gitarskog festivala (april 2010).
Ptolemaios redovno nastupa kako na klasičnoj gitari,tako i na električnoj, klaviru, violončelu ili tambori.
Ptolemaios Armaos was born in Athens, in 1993. He graduated at the „National Conservatory“ with Prof. Elena Papandreou and Prof. Vaggelis Boudounis for chamber music. In June 2010, he was awarded his Degree on classical guitar with honors and distinction of virtuosity. Postgraduate studies he had at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne(Germany), under the Prof. Roberto Aussel.
Ptolemaios has actively participated in Guitar Master Classes with Roland Dyens, Oscar Ghiglia, Marco Socías and Hubert Käppel.
He has taken part in music competitions, winning various distinctions. He was awarded the first prize at: National Competition for Young Guitarists of the 7th Veria Guitar Festival (May 2008), 1stNational Competition for Young Guitarists of the Hymettus Municipal Conservatory (February 2009), 11th Winter International Guitar Festival of the Foundouli Conservatory in Volos (January 2010), and 2nd International Guitar Competition of the 9th Veria Guitar Festival (April 2010).
Ptolemaios regularly gives recitals playing classical guitar, electric guitar, piano, cello or tamboura.
