Rodrigo Maluf je počeo studije gitare sa 14 godina. Studirao je na ‘Escola Municipal de Musica (Brazil – Sao Paolo) sa profesorom Henrikeom Pintom i na konzervatorijumu  Souza Lima (Brazil – Sao Paolo) sa profesorom i kompozitorom Paulo de Tarso Salles . Godine 2006 otišao je u Otavu na usavršavanje sa Denisom Donegani iz „Kanadskog gitarskog kvarteta“ i imao masterclass sa Philipom Candelarijom, još jednim članom ‘CGK’. Nastupao je na Univerzitetu u Otavi i na konzervatorijumu Gatineau (Kuebec-Canada). Pobednik je konkursa „Concours-Bours de Le Conservatoire de Musikue de L’Outaouais“ (Kanada).
2007. godine ušao je na Univerzitet umetnosti Alcantara Machado (UniFiamFaam / Brazil – Sao Paolo) kao student profesora Henrikuea Pinta. Učestvovao na masterklasu sa Šaron Isbin na „Campos de Jordao Vinter Music Festival“. Rodrigo je bio među poslednjim finalistima 2. gitarskog takmičenja na Univerzitetu Cantareira (Brazil – Sao Paolo), takođe 2007. godine.
Predstavio se na nekoliko gitarskih / muzičkih događaja u Sao Paolu, poput „Projeto Violao no MASP“ (Guitar at the Museum of Art of Sao Paolo), Souza Lima’s Conservatori Guitar Festival, Violoes na Catedral.
Rodrigo je učestvovao na masterclassima gitarista: Mario Ulloa, Fabio Zanon, Paulo P. Alegre, Gustavo Costa i Victor Pellegrini.
U avgustu 2009. godine je postigao priznanje počasti na 2o. Gitarski takmičenje konzervatorije Villa-Lobo.
Rodrigo Maluf je imao i predavanja sa Annielo Desiderio, Fabio Zanon, Sidni Molina (Kuaternaglia), David0m Pavlovits, Gael Solal i Joao Luiz Rezende Lopes (Brazilski gitarski duo).

 

Rodrigo Maluf started his guitar studies at the age of 14. In 2006 went to Ottawa to have classes with Denis Donegani from the ‘Canadian Guitar Quartet’, and had masterclass with Philip Candelaria, another member of ‘CGQ’. He played recitals at the University of Ottawa and at the Gatineau’s Conservatory (Québec-Canada). Winner of the competition ‘Concours-Bours de Le Conservatoire de Musique de L’Outaouais (Canada).
In 2007 got into the Art University Alcântara Machado (UniFiamFaam / Brazil – Sao Paolo) as a student of the Professor Henrique Pinto. Participated of Sharon Isbin`s masterclass in ‘Campos de Jordão Winter Music Festival’. Rodrigo was between the last finalists of the 2o Guitar Competition from the Cantareira’s University (Brazil – Sao Paolo), also in 2007.
He presented himself in several guitar/music events in Sao Paolo like ‘Projeto Violão no MASP’ (‘Guitar at the Museum of Art of Sao Paolo’), Souza Lima`s Conservatory Guitar Festival, ‘Violões na Catedral’.
