Vojin Kocić rođen je 1990. godine u Smederevu, gde je klasičnu gitaru počeo da uči kod  profesora Jovice Miloševića. U Beogradu je završio srednju muzičku školu „Josip Slavenski“ u klasi profesora Darka Karajića, diplomirao je na na Fakultetu Muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu, u klasi profesora Srdjana Tošića, usavršavao se na poslediplomskim studijama u Cirihu u Švajcarskoj. Na nacionalnim takmičenjima osvojio je sedam prvih i specijalnih nagrada, a posebno su zapaženi uspesi na evropskim takmičenjima za mlade gitariste: četiri prve i specijalne nagrade na „Guitar art – festivalu u Beogradu, prve i specijalne nagrade na „6. Anna Amalia competition – 2003“ u Waimaru, na 3. Evropskom takmičenju „Andreas Segovia – 2004″ u Velbertu, kao i prvo mesto i specijalna nagrada na međunarodnom takmičenju „I Guitar Festival – 2007”, u Splitu. Svoje najveće uspehe, Vojin je ostvario na prestižnim internacionalnim takmičenjima bez starosne granice: 35. međunarodo takmičenje muzičke omladine „Jeunesses musicales – 2005″, Beograd (treće mesto, prva nagrada publike); „I Guitar festival – 2007“, Split, (prva nagrada, specijalna nagrada); „Guitar art – 2008.” festival, Beograd, (prva nagrada); 38. International Classical Guitar Competition „Michele Pittaluga“- Alessandria, Italija, 2005, 2006. godine (kao polufinalista, dva puta je nagrađen je školovanjem na Muzičkoj akademiji Chigina, u klasi Oscara Ghiglie); 28. Incontri chitaristici di Gargnano, 2008. godine, u Garnjanu, Italija (prva nagrada); 11. Classical Guitar Festival John Duarte, Rust, Austria, 2009. godine (prva nagrada); Concorso Internazionale di Chitarra classica „Ruggero Chiesa” – Citta di Camogli 2010, (prva nagrada, specijalna nagrada); International Classical Guitar Competition Karl Scheit, Wien, 2010. godine (treća nagrada, specijalna nagrada) i drugi. Održao je preko trideset solističkih koncerata u zemlji i inostranstvu, kao i zapažene koncerte sa najboljim srpskim orkestrima („Simfonijski orkestar RTS“, „Sveti Đorđe“, „Dušan Skovran“), a sa samo trinaest godina nastupao je u „Sava – centru” sa kamernim orkestrom „Atina Kamerata“ iz Atine. Nastupao je i na Prvom Kraljevskom koncertu u čast prestolonaslednika Karađorđevića. Vojin je za postignute uspehe nagrađen Svetosavskom poveljom za 2007. godinu, nagradom „Beogradski anđeo“ i nagradom Fonda za mlade talente Republike Srbije u 2006. godini. Pohađao je sa velikim uspehom majstorske kurseve kod najpoznatijih svetskih gitarista i učitelja klasične gitare: Oscar Ghiglia, Hubert Kappell, Pepe Romero, Costas Cotsiolis, Pavel Steidl, Leo Brower, Carlo Marhcione, Tillman Hoppstock, Zoran Dukic, Marco Tamayo, Dusko Bogdanovic, Judicael Perroy, Goran Krivokapić, Edin Karamazov, Miroslav Tadic, Denis Azabagic, Sante Tursi, Laura Young , Pablo Marquez, Suzana Prieto, Tomaž Rajterič, Darko Karajić, Boško Radojković, Zoran Krajišnik, Vera Ogrizović, Srdjan Tosić, i drugih. Živi i radi u Cirihu, Švajcarska.

 

Vojin Kocić was born in 1990, in Smederevo, Serbia. In 2013 he graduated at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste and Master studies of the “Master in specialized musical performance” program at ZHdK in Zurich (Switzerland) in the class of professor Anders Miolin. Vojin gave more than fifty soloist concerts, including performance at the First Royal Concert for His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Alexander in Belgrade, winning soloist concerts in Belgrade (as part of the Guitart fest), in Rust (Austria), Bratislava in Slovakia (in organization of the National Broadcasting Service of Serbia and Slovakia national broadcasting corporation). As a soloist he played with orchestras such as the Athens Kamerata String Orchestra, Belgrade String Orchestra “St.George”, “Dušan Skovran” Strings Chamber Orchestra of Belgrade, Symphonic Orchestra of the National Radio and TV Broadcasting Service of Serbia. Vojin Kocić won the “ArtLink Most Promising Music Artist Award in Serbia, for 2010 and, as a part of the Award, held concerts in Belgrade at the Kolarac Endowment Concert Hall and at the “Salon rouge” at the “l’Hôtel national des Invalides” in Paris. He also has been awarded with first and special prizes at many domestic and international competitions for young guitarists:
