DAVIDE GIOVANNI TOMASI

Davide Giovanni Tomasi je rođen u Paviji 1991. godine, u Italiji. Diplomirao je cum laude na konzervatorijumu u Novari sa prof. Guidom Fichtnerom, kada je imao samo osamnaest godina. Nakon toga, primljen je na Akademiju Chigiana u Sijeni gdje je studirao sa prof. Oscar Ghigliom gde je i diplomirao. Magistrirao je u klasama Paola Pegorara i Adriana Del Sala na Akademiji Segovia u Pordenoneu, a usavršavao se sa prof. Paolom Pegorarom u Kunstuniversitat u Grazu (Austrija). U 2018. nastupiće u više od 50 gradova širom sveta – uključujući koncertne turneje u Brazilu, Argentini i Meksiku – i debitovao je u Međunarodnoj muzičkoj kući u Moskvi. Osvojio je više od dvadeset pet nagrada na međunarodnim takmičenjima: među njima je i prva nagrada na Tokijskom međunarodnom gitarskom takmičenju, druga nagrada na Guitar Masters 2016 (Vroclav, Poljska), prva nagrada na takmičenju u gitarskoj konkurenciji Jose Tomas u Petreru (Španija) , na Gargnano medjunarodnom gitarskom takmičenju i na Međunarodnom gitarskom takmičenju Emilio Pujol u Sassari, prvu nagradu i nagradu publike na „Visee“  međunarodnom gitarskom takmičenju (Portugal), prva nagrada među svim instrumentima Premio Fondazione CRT u Ivrei, i konačno Nacionalna nagrada Umetnosti, dodeljene najboljim muzičarima koji u Italiji studira Ministarstvo obrazovanja Italije.
Od 2016. godine je umetnik kuće D’Addario.

Davide Giovanni Tomasi was born in Pavia in 1991, Italy. He graduated cum laude from the conservatory in Novara with M° Guido Fichtner when he was only eighteen years old. Afterwards, he was accepted at Chigiana Academy in Siena where he studied with M° Oscar Ghiglia and was awarded a Diploma of Merit. At present, he is attending masterclasses with M° Paolo Pegoraro and M° Adriano Del Sal at the Segovia Academy in Pordenone, and a Master’s Degree course with M° Paolo Pegoraro at the Kunstuniversität in Graz (Austria). In 2018, he will be playing in more than 50 cities around the world – including a tour of concerts in Brasil, Argentina and Mexico – and he will make his debut at the International House of Music in Moscow. He has won more than twenty-five prizes in international competitions: among them, first prize at the Tokyo International Guitar Competition,second prize at Guitar Masters 2016 (Wroclaw, Poland), first prize at José Tomas International Guitar Competition in Petrer (Spain), at the Gargnano International Guitar Competition and at Emilio Pujol International Guitar Competition in Sassari, first prize and audience’s prize at the Viseu International Guitar Competition (Portugal), first prize among all instruments at Premio Fondazione CRT in Ivrea, and finally the National Prize of Arts, awarded to the best musicians studying in Italy by the Italian Ministry of Education.
Since 2016 he has been a D’Addario Artist.
