PETAR POPOVIĆ

Petar Popović rođen je u Bijeljini (BiH) 1980 godine. Osnovne i master studije završio je u Novom Sadu u klasi prof. Zorana Krajišnika. Dobitnik je nagrada na takmičenjima gitare kao što su Petar Konjović u Beogradu, Republičko takmičenje u Beogradu i Međunarodni festival gitare u Subotici.
Radio je u Osnovnoj muzičkoj školi Josip Slavenski u Novom Sadu, gde je sa svojim učenicima osvojio više prvih i laureat nagrada na Pokrajinskim i Republičkim takmičenjima. Od 2008. godine radi u svojstvu saradnika u nastavi a zatim i kao stručni saradnik na predmetu gitara. Od tog perioda vodi orkestar gitara Akademije umetnosti u Novom Sadu sa kojim je ostvario niz nastupa širom Vojvodine. Zajedno sa svojim kolegama osniva Novosadski kvartet gitara, sa kojim ostvaruje niz zapaženih nastupa kod nas i u regionu.
Pohađao je seminare kod eminentnih profesora kod nas i u regionu. Redovan je član žirija na gitarističkim takmičenjima. Nastupao je kao solo gitarista i u kamernim sastavima na festivalima i koncertima širom Srbije, sa Novosadskim gitarskim triom na „Vojvođanskom festivalu gitare“, u duu sa gitaristom Denisom Palošem na festivalu kamerne muzike „Tisin Cvet“, u duu sa violončelistom Markom Miletićem i drugim. Ostvaruje i saradnju sa vokalno instrumentalnim sastavom „Orfelin“, „Camerata academica“, horom „Sveti Stefan Dečanski“, gde nastupa kao solista u više projekata. Radi kao samostalni stručni saradnik na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu.

Petar Popovic was born in Bijeljina (BiH) in 1980. He completed elementary and master studies in Novi Sad in the class of prof. Zoran Krajisnik. He was awarded at guitar competitions such as Petar Konjovic in Belgrade, Republic Competition in Belgrade and International Guitar Festival in Subotica.
He worked at the Josip Slavenski Basic Music School in Novi Sad, where his students won several first and laureate awards at the Provincial and Republic competitions. Since 2008 he has worked as a teaching assistant and then as a senior associate in the guitar department at Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. From that period, he led the guitar orchestra of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, with which he performed a number of performances throughout Vojvodina. Together with his colleagues, he founded the Novi Sad Guitar Quartet, with which he made a number of notable performances in our country and in the region.
He attended seminars with eminent professors in our country and in the region. He is a regular member of the jury at guitar competitions. He performed as solo guitarists in chamber ensembles at festivals and concerts all over Serbia, with Novi Sad guitar trio at „Vojvodina Guitar Festival“, in duo with guitarist Denis Palos at the Tisin Cvet festival of chamber music, in duo with violoncellist Marko Miletic and others. He also works with choir „Orfelin“, „Camerata academica“, choir „Sveti Stefan Decanski“, where he performs as a soloist in several projects. He works as an independent associate at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
