FILIP ŽIVANOVIĆ

Filip Živanović rođen je 1991. godine u Beogradu. Završio je nižu i srednju muzičku školu „Kosta Manojlović“ u Smederevu u klasi Bojane Stojanović. Uporedo se usavršavao kod prof. Aleksandra Hadži Đorđevića. Godine 2014. diplomirao je na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi profesora Srđana Tošića. Krajem 2014. godine sa kolegama osniva udruženje “Beogradsko gitarsko društvo“ koje je u okviru šest koncertnih sezona organizovalo više od  30 koncerata klasične gitare na teritoriji Beograda. U toku je sedma koncertna sezona udruženja. Naredne godine završio je master studije iz gitare na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi profesora Srđana Tošića, kao i master studije iz kamerne muzike u klasi profesorke Tee Dimitrijević .U februaru 2020. doktorirao je na Univerzitetu u Minesoti, SAD, u klasi prof. dr Maje Radovanlije. Učestvovao je na master klasovima kod eminentnih stručnjaka kao što su: Aniello Desiderio, Hubert Käppel, Roland Dyens, Paolo Pegoraro, Rene Izquerdo i drugi. Filip je aktivan kao solista i kamerni muzičar, od 2011. je član Beogradskog gitarskog dua sa kolegom Momčilom Aleksandrićem. Pored gitarskog dua, aktivno je nastupao u kamernim sastavima sa flautom, violinom, kao član Beogradskog gitarskog kvarteta, kao i sa saksofonistom Bendžaminom Koldom (Benjamin Cold) sa kojim je 2018. godine osnovao “CZ duo” i nastupao na koncertima širom Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, kao i na Kubi, u Havani, gde su 2018. održali koncert u okviru Festivala savremene muzike. Tokom školovanja u Americi osvojio je brojne nagrade na međunarodnim takmičenjima širom SAD-a (Memphis International Guitar Festival, Schubert’s Club Competition, Southern Guitar Festival, Appalachian GuitarFest…), uključujući i treću nagradu na Internacionalnom takmičenju ansambala (IEC) u okviru konvencije “Guitar Foundation of America“ u Lujvilu, Kentaki, 2018. godine. Od septembra 2024. predaje gitaru u MŠ “Josip Slavenski” u Beogradu.

Filip Živanović was born in 1991 in Belgrade. He completed both elementary and high school at the “Kosta Manojlović” Music School in Smederevo, studying under Bojana Stojanović. Simultaneously, he received additional training from Professor Aleksandar Hadži Đorđević. In 2014, he graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Professor Srđan Tošić. At the end of 2014, together with colleagues, he founded the “Belgrade Guitar Society,” which has organized more than 30 classical guitar concerts across Belgrade over the course of six concert seasons. The society is currently in its seventh season. The following year, he completed his master’s studies in guitar at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under Professor Srđan Tošić, as well as a master’s degree in chamber music under Professor Tea Dimitrijević. In February 2020, he earned his doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota, USA, in the class of Professor Dr. Maja Radovanlija. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned experts such as Aniello Desiderio, Hubert Käppel, Roland Dyens, Paolo Pegoraro, Rene Izquerdo, among others. Filip is active as both a soloist and chamber musician. Since 2011, he has been a member of the Belgrade Guitar Duo with colleague Momčilo Aleksandrić. In addition to the duo, he has actively performed in chamber ensembles with flute, violin, as a member of the Belgrade Guitar Quartet, and with saxophonist Benjamin Cold, with whom he founded the “CZ Duo” in 2018. Together, they have performed across the United States, as well as in Havana, Cuba, where they gave a concert in 2018 as part of the Festival of Contemporary Music. During his studies in the United States, he won numerous awards at international competitions across the country (Memphis International Guitar Festival, Schubert’s Club Competition, Southern Guitar Festival, Appalachian GuitarFest…), including third prize at the International Ensemble Competition (IEC) held during the Guitar Foundation of America Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2018. As of September 2024, he has been teaching guitar at the “Josip Slavenski” Music School in Belgrade.
