SAVA BOŽINOVIĆ

Sava Božinović (1997) je gitaru počeo da svira sa 9 godina u muzičkoj školi „Predrag Milošević“ u Knjaževcu, u klasi prof. Dragana Ilića. Pokazujući velike muzičke sposobnosti od malih nogu, Sava je samo tokom osnovnog obrazovanja osvojio više od 20 nagrada na državnim i međunarodnim takmičenjima gitare. Srednje obrazovanje nastavlja u Muzičkoj školi „Josip Slavenski“ u Beogradu, u klasi prof. Miloša Janjića (diplomirao u klasi prof. Ognjena Grčka) gde je nastavio da postiže zapažene rezultate – osvaja nagrade od kojih su najznačajnije I i II nagrada na „Republičkom takmičenju muzičkih škola“ (2014, 2016.) i III nagrada na međunarodnom „Gitar Art Festivalu“ u Beogradu. Tokom školovanja, imao je prilike da nastupa u kamernim ansamblima sa flautom, violinom, gitarom, glasom, čembalom ali i kao solista u Španiji i Švedskoj. Koncertirao je u „Galeriji Kolarca” „Narodnoj biblioteci Srbije“, „Galeriji ArtGet“, „Italijanskom institutu za kulturu“, „Muzeju Narodnog pozorišta“, „Kulturnom centru Novog Sada“. Tokom srednje škole i studija na „Fakuletu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu“ Sava je bio redovan stipendista „Ministarstva prosvete Srbije“ i „Ministarstva omladine i sporta“. U poslednje dve godine osnovnih i tokom master studija bio je stipendista Fonda za mlade talente „Dositeja“ koja nagrađuje 500 najboljih studenata u Srbiji. Sava je 2019. godine bio deo Erasmus+ programa koji mu je omogućio da studira na „Muzičkom konzervatorijumu u Vigu” u Španiji („Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo”), u klasi prof. Margarite Eskarpe. Sava je nosilac master diplome sa „Fakulteta muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu“ gde je diplomirao u klasi prof. Srđana Tošića. U maju 2021. osvojio je „Globalnu stipendiju Univerziteta Lund“ (Lund University Global Scholarship) – stipendiju koju dodeljuje prestižni Univerzitet Lund u Švedskoj svake druge godine, samo jednom studentu iz neke od zemalja izvan Evropske Unije, što mu je omogućilo da upiše svoj drugi master na „Muzičkoj akademiji u Malmeu“ („Musikhögskolan i Malmö“) u klasi prof. Jorana Solšera (Göran Söllscher) i prof. Davida Hansona (David Hansson). Diplomirao je sa najvišim dostignućima u junu 2023. godine. Tokom ovog perioda, sarađivao je sa nekoliko kompozitora i svirao svetske premijere komada „Silverfallet“ Meline Ramberg i „Impromptu“ Elijasa von Prošeka za solo gitaru. Pored toga, premijerno je izveo komad „¿Duo?“ za gitaru i elektroniku koji je napisao švedski gitarista i kompozitor Alvi Joensen. Dobitnik je nagrada iz fondacija „Beslut Eba i Birgit Janson“ („Beslut Ebba och Birgit Janssons fond“) i „Inga i Georg Kopelius“ (,,Inga och Georg Kopelius”) kao jedan od najboljih studenata na instrumentalnom odseku svoje akademije. Sava je bio finalista internacionalog takmičenja za mlade talente u Upsali („Uppsala guitar festival”) a na takmičenju „Jurgen Rorbi“ („Jörgen Rörby”) na „Festivalu gitare i laute“ u gradu Ingesund u Švedskoj, osvojio je I nagradu, nakon jednoglasne odluke žirija. Takođe, osvajač je najprestižnije stipendije države Švedske iz oblasti umetnosti – „KMA nacionalne stipendije“ u Stokholmu (“Kungl. Musikaliska Akademien stipendiet”).


Sava Božinović (1997) started playing the guitar at the age of 9 at the „Predrag Milošević“ Music School in Knjaževac, in the class of Prof. Dragan Ilić. Showing great musical abilities from an early age, Sava won more than 20 awards at national and international guitar competitions during his primary education alone.
He continued his secondary education at the „Josip Slavenski“ Music School in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Miloš Janjić (graduating in the class of Prof. Ognjen Grčak), where he continued to achieve remarkable results—winning awards, the most significant of which were the 1st and 2nd prizes at the „Republican Competition of Music Schools“ (2014, 2016) and the 3rd prize at the international „Guitar Art Festival“ in Belgrade.
During his schooling, he had the opportunity to perform in chamber ensembles with flute, violin, guitar, voice, and harpsichord, as well as a soloist in Spain and Sweden. He has given concerts at the „Kolarac Gallery,“ the „National Library of Serbia,“ the „ArtGet Gallery,“ the „Italian Institute of Culture,“ the „National Theatre Museum,“ and the „Cultural Centre of Novi Sad.“
Throughout high school and his studies at the „Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade,“ Sava was a regular scholarship holder of the „Ministry of Education of Serbia“ and the „Ministry of Youth and Sports.“ In the last two years of his undergraduate studies and throughout his master’s studies, he was a scholarship recipient of the „Dositeja“ Fund for Young Talents, which recognizes the top 500 students in Serbia.
In 2019, Sava was part of the Erasmus+ program, which allowed him to study at the „Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo“ in Spain, in the class of Prof. Margarita Escarpa. Sava holds a master’s degree from the „Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade,“ where he graduated in the class of Prof. Srđan Tošić.
In May 2021, he won the Lund University Global Scholarship—a prestigious scholarship awarded every two years by Lund University in Sweden to only one student from a non-EU country—which enabled him to enroll in his second master’s program at the „Malmö Academy of Music“ (Musikhögskolan i Malmö) in the class of Prof. Göran Söllscher and Prof. David Hansson. He graduated with the highest achievements in June 2023.
During this period, he collaborated with several composers and performed the world premieres of the pieces Silverfallet by Melina Ramberg and Impromptu by Elias von Proschek for solo guitar. He also premiered the piece ¿Duo? for guitar and electronics, written by the Swedish guitarist and composer Alvi Joensen. He is a recipient of awards from the „Beslut Ebba och Birgit Janssons fond“ and „Inga och Georg Kopelius“ foundations as one of the best students in the instrumental department of his academy.
Sava was a finalist in the international competition for young talents at the „Uppsala Guitar Festival,“ and at the „Jörgen Rörby“ competition at the „Guitar and Lute Festival“ in Ingesund, Sweden, he won 1st prize after a unanimous jury decision. He is also the winner of Sweden’s most prestigious scholarship in the field of arts—the KMA National Scholarship (Kungl. Musikaliska Akademien stipendiet) in Stockholm.
