Stipendista Fonda za mlade talente Republike Srbije, Stevan je osnovne studije završio na Akademiji Umetnosti u Novom Sadu u klasi profesora Zorana Krajišnika. Po zavrsetku studija na Akademiji Umetnosti, Stevan je proglašen za najuspešnijeg studenta Departmana muzičke umetnosti, i dobija nagradu Švajcarske Fondacije “Mali princ“. Nakon diplomiranja 2009. godine, Stevan dobija stipendiju i poziv za pohađanje postdiplomskih studija na Fakultetu Muzičke Umetnosti Džekobs, u Americi. 2012. godine, Stevan završava magistarske i specijalističke studije u klasi maestra Ernesta Bitetija. Stevan često koncertira širom Srbije i Sjedinjenih Država, kao solista i u duu sa suprugom Evitom Jović.  Predavao je na Fakultetu Muzičke Umetnosti Džekobs, u Americi. Od 2013. godine, Stevan je redovan predavač na letnjoj školi gitare Interlochen Arts Academy u Mičigenu, gde drži majstorske kurseve i radi sa učenicima iz celog sveta.  Predaje u Muzičkoj školi u Šapcu.

Stevan completed his basic studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of professor Zoran Krajisnik, as a scholarship of the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia. After finishing his studies at the Academy of Arts, Stevan was named the most successful student of the Department of Music, and received the Prize of the Swiss Foundation „Little Prince“. After graduating in 2009, Stevan receives a scholarship and an invitation to attend postgraduate studies at the Jakobs College of Music Arts, in the United States. In 2012, Stevan completed his master’s and specialist studies in the class of maestro Ernesto Bitetti. Stevan frequently plays in Serbia and the United States, as a soloist and duo with his wife, Evita Jovic. He lectured at the Jakobs Music Academy in America. Since 2013, Stevan is a regular lecturer at the Interlochen Arts Academy summer school in Michigan, where he holds master classes and works with students from around the world. He teaches at the Music School in Šabac.
