Guitarists Association of Vojvodina is carrying out a spectacular augmented reality project – Vinča Code: Immersive Soundspace – within the UNESCO Creative Cities Network!
During the exhibition and the presentation of the virtual multimedia installation for VR devices, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the details behind its creation, as well as to experience the virtual installation and immersive VR180 musical performance using the available Meta Quest VR devices.
At the heart of the installation is the visual symbol IMI, which some researchers believe represented the entrance to a temple in the Vinča culture. This and other symbols, through a series of free associations, intertwine with English words, shaded in gray and blue, creating a “field of signs” open to multiple interpretations.
The music, composed especially for this occasion for two guitars, is inspired by melodies from the Orthodox Octoechos.
Participants in the program include:
Momčilo Aleksandrić
Project author, VR180 video production
Sanja Golubović
Pavle Kuznjecov
Technical development of the virtual installation for Meta Quest VR devices
