ORESTIS KALAMPALIKIS

Orestis Kalampalikis rođen je u Atini u Grčkoj 1981. godine. Gitaru je počeoda svira sa sedam godina. Nakon završetka muzičkih studija na Nacionalnom konzervatorijumu Atine, u klasi Iiannis Petridis, primljen je u Nacionalnom konzervatorijumu za muziku i ples u Parizu. Tamo je studirao sa Rolandom Dyensom i dobio „Diplome de Formation Superieure“ 2009. godine. Od tada je takođe pohađao mnoge master studije. Orestis je osvojio nekoliko nagrada na međunarodnim gitarskim takmičenjima: 2006. godine u Grčkoj osvojio je prve nagrade na Konzervatoriju Filippos Nakas-Patras, Panhelensko gitarsko takmičenje Verije takođe 1. nagrada. Dobitnik je nagrade „Ivor Mairants Guitar Avard“ (došao je 3.), kao i 2007. godine u Fontenai-sous-bois u Francuskoj. Pored njegove klasične vokacije, Orestis je bio pod uticajem raznih muzičkih stilova: svira električnu gitaru i bouzouki kada sarađuje sa drugim umetnicima. Studirao je kompoziciju na konzervatorijumu Gennevilliers sa Bernardom Cavanna. Tri njegova solo gitarska rada osvojila su prve nagrade na međunarodnim takmičenjima gitarske kompozicije: „World Guitar Competition“ u Novom Sadu, Srbija -2012, „Dani ličnosti gitare“ u Antaliji, Turska-2014, „Niluferski gitarski dani“ Bursa, Turska – 2015. Orestis takođe komponuje za pozorište i bioskop a komponovao je muziku za svoje studente. Trenutno studira dirigovanje i orkestraciju na konzervatorijumu Noisi-le-Sec sa Henri-Claude Fantapie. Radi u Ecole opštini St. Vitz u regiji Pariz.

 

Orestis Kalampalikis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1981. He started the guitar at the age of 7. After finishing his musical studies at the National Conservatory of Athens, in the class of Yiannis Petridis, he was accepted in the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse in Paris. There he studied with Roland Dyens and obtained the Diplôme de Formation Supérieure in 2009. Since then he has also attended many master classes. Orestis has won several prizes in international guitar competitions: In 2006 in Greece, he won the Conservatoire of Filippos Nakas-Patras 1st prize, the Panhellenic guitar competition of Veria 1st prize. He was awarded the “The Ivor Mairants Guitar Award” (he came 3rd) and in 2007 in Fontenay-sous-bois in France, he was the 1st prize winner. Apart from his classical formation Orestis has been influenced by various musical styles: he plays electric guitar and bouzouki when collaborating with other artists. Alongside with his performing activities he has studied composition in the Conservatoire des Gennevilliers with Bernard Cavanna. Three of his solo guitar works have won first prizes in international guitar composition competitions: the “World Guitar Competition” in Novisad, Serbia -2012, “Lycia Guitar Days” in Antalya, Turkey-2014, the “Nilufer Guitar Days” Bursa, Turkey – 2015. Orestis also composes for the theatre and cinema and has composed music for his students. Currently he is studying conducting and orchestration in the Conservatoire de Noisy-le-Sec with Henri-Claude Fantapié. He is teaching in the Ecole Municipal of St. Witz in the Paris region.
