PETAR ČULIĆ

Petar Čulić (1986., Split, Hrvatska) diplomirao je u Splitu u julu 2008. godine u klasi prof. Gorana Listeša i nastavio je postdiplomske studije u Koblencu (Nemačka) na „Koblenz međunarodnoj gitarskoj akademiji“ u klasi prof. Hubert Kappela.
Nastupao je više od 1000 puta, u centrima poput Londona, Beča, Pariza, Brisela, Skoplja, Beograda, Zagreba, Rima, Norvicha, Sarajeva, itd. Osvojio je 5 prvih nagrada na nacionalnim gitarskim takmičenjima kao solista i 3 u kamernoj muzici. Osvojio je prvu nagradu na međunarodnim takmičenjima «Gitarrenfestival Gevelsberg» u Gevelsberg (Germani) – 2012., „Simon Salmaso“ u Viareggio (Italija) – 1997. i 1999. godine, „Ivan Padovec“ u Zagrebu (Hrvatska) – 2005. „Morski festivala gitare“ (Slovenija) – 2007. (u 2 kategorije), „Nikšić Guitar Festival“ u Nikšiću (Crna Gora) 2010. – „Zimski festival gitare“ Volos (Grčka) – 2007. (u 2 kategorije). on je takođe osvojio nagrade na takmičenjima u Beogradu, Gorizia, Velbertu, Veimaru, Kutna Hora, Lovranu, itd . Nastupao je kao solista sa različitim orchestrima kao što su Rheinische Philharmonie, Crnogorski orkestar, Omiš gudački orkestar kao i Concierto de Aranjuez sa Mozart orkestrom u Engleskoj.
Učestvovao je na brojnim seminarima kao aktivni učesnik sa velikanima kao što su Pepe Romero, Villiam Kanengiser, Scott Tennant, Pavel Steidl, Aniello Desiderio, Carlo Markione, Tilman Hoppstock, Zoran Dukić, Costas Cotsiolis, Marco Tamaio, Jaime Zenamon, Goran Krivokapić, Marcin Dila, Denis Azabagić , Goran Listeš, Fabio Zanon, Judicael Perroi itd.
Francuski kompozitor, Kolet Mourei komponovao je nekoliko komada za solo gitaru, kao Hommage a Petar Čulić (Sonata Appassionata, Toccatina Barbaresca i Variations Serieuses.

Petar Čulić (1986, Split, Croatia) graduated from univeristy in Split in July 2008 in class of prof. Goran Listeš and continue his education through postgraduate studies in Koblenz (Germany) at „Koblenz International Guitar Academy“ in the class of prof. Hubert Käppel, and finish it in May 2010.
He has performed more than 1000 performances, also in centres like London, Wienna, Paris, Bruxelles, Skopje, Belgrade, Zagreb, Rome, Norwich, Sarajevo,etc. He won 5 first prizes on national guitar competitions as a soloist, and 3 in chamber music acompany. He won 1. st prizes on international competitions «Gitarrenfestival Gevelsberg» in Gevelsberg (Germany) – 2012., „Simone Salmaso“ in Viareggio (Italy) – 1997. and 1999., „Ivan Padovec“ in Zagreb (Croatia) – 2005., „Morski festival kitare“ in Murska Sobota (Slovenia) – 2007. (in 2 categories), „Nikšić guitar festival“ in Nikšić (Montenegro) 2010. –, „Winter Guitar Festival“ in Volos (Greece) – 2007. (in 2 categories). He also won prizes on competitions in Belgrade, Gorizia, Velbert, Weimar, Kutna Hora, Lovran, etc. He played as a soloist with different orchestrassuch as Rheinische Philharmonie, Montenegro Symphony orchestra, Omiš String orchestra. This year he will play Concierto de Aranjuezwith Mozart orchestra in England. 
He won two Chancellor’s awards in the academic year 2005/06. One for extraordinary results achieved throughout his studies, and special award for extraordinary artistic achievements. 2005. in the foyer of the Croatian National Theatre in Split he held a guitar recital and promoted his first CD.
He has participated in numerous masterclassesas active participant with Pepe Romero, William Kanengiser, Scott Tennant, Pavel Steidl, Aniello Desiderio, Carlo Marchione, Tilman Hoppstock, Zoran Dukić, Costas Cotsiolis, Marco Tamayo, Jaime Zenamon, Goran Krivokapić, Marcin Dylla, Denis Azabagić, Goran Listeš, Fabio Zanon, Judicael Perroy,etc.
French composer, Colette Mourey composed few pieces for guitar solo as Hommage à Petar Culic (Sonata Appassionata, Toccatina Barbaresca and Variations Serieuses.
