Marko Srđević je rođen u Beogradu 1977.god. Nižu i srednju muzičku školu je završio u Novom Sadu u muzičkoj školi “ Isidor Bajić” na odseku za gitaru. U tom periodu, najbitniji deo svog obrazovanja stekao je u klasama eminentnih domaćih pedagoga Zorana Krajišnika (Akademija umetnosti u Novom Sadu) i Srđana Tošića (Fakultet muzičkih umetnosti u Beogradu). Godine 1997. dobija stipendiju i upisuje redovne studije gitare na Akademiji umetnosti u Bratislavi (Slovačka) u klasi profesora Jozefa Žapke , gde je sa najvišim ocenama diplomirao 2000. i magistrirao 2002. godine. Usavršavao se i na majstorskim kursevima klasične gitare kod Nikite Koškina (Rusija), Fogaroši Bele (Mađarska), Džona Djuarta (V. Britanija) i Dušana Bogdanovića (SAD).
Tokom boravka u Bratislavi obavljao je i pedagošku delatnost u QSI-Međunarodnoj muzičkoj školi i Slovačkom centru za kulturu i umetnost. Nakon magistrature radio je i kao asistent profesora J. Žapke na katedri za gitaru na bratislavskoj Akademiji umetnosti. Od 2004. godine Marko Srđević je zaposlen kao profesor gitare u Muzičkoj školi u Subotici i njegovi učenici su višestruki osvajači prvih nagrada na svim značajnijim takmičenjima u zemlji.
Njegova izvođačka karijera obeležena je brojnim nastupima i koncertima na kojima je nastupao kao solista i kao kamerni muzičar. Od važnijih treba spomenuti koncerte u Beogradu, Novom Sadu, Subotici, Požarevcu, Smederevu (Srbija), Banja Luci (BIH), Vukovaru (Hrvatska), Đeru (Mađarska), Brnu (Česka) i u Bratislavi, Nitri i Košicama (Slovačka). Svoj prvi CD snimio je 1997. godine.
Marko Srđević was born in Belgrade in 1977. He finished elementary music school in Novi Sad at music school „Isidor Bajić“ at the guitar section. During this period, he acquired the most important part of his education in the classes of eminent domestic pedagogues Zoran Krajišnik (Academy of Arts in Novi Sad) and Srđan Tošić (Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade). In 1997, he received a scholarship and enrolled in regular guitar studies at the Academy of Art in Bratislava (Slovakia) in the class of professor Jozef Zápka, where he received the highest grades in 2000 and received a master’s degree in 2002. He also went on to master classical guitar with Nikita Koškin (Russia), Fegaroszi Bela (Hungary), John Duarte (UK) and Dušan Bogdanović (Switzerland).
During his stay in Bratislava, he also performed pedagogical activities at the QSI-International Music School and the Slovak Center for Culture and Art. After the magister he worked as an assistant professor J. Zapka at the guitar department at the Bratislava Academy of Arts. Since 2004, Marko Srđević has been employed as a guitar teacher at the Music School in Subotica and his students are multiple winners of the first prizes at all major competitions in the country.
His performance career was marked by many performances and concerts where he performed as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Among the more important ones, mention should be made of the concerts in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Pozarevac, Smederevo (Serbia), Banja Luka (BIH), Vukovar (Croatia), Djer (Hungary), Brno (Czech Republic) and Bratislava, Nitra and Košice . He recorded his first CD in 1997.
