SLOBODAN MILIVOJEVIĆ

Srpski gitarista Slobodan Milivojević rođen je 1980. godine u Kninu. Diplomirao je klasičnu gitaru sa najvišom ocenom na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu u klasi prof. Srđana Tošića. Dobivši punu stipendiju od Indijana Univerziteta u Blumingtonu (Indiana Statate University Bloomington USA) završava gitaristički program najvišeg stepena postdiplomske koncertne prakse ‒prestižnu Artist diplomu, radeći sa profesorima: gitaristom Ernestom Bitetijem i lautistom Najdželom Nortom. Doktorske umetničke studije završava 2015.godine na Fakultetu muzičke umetnosti u Beogradu pod mentorstvom prof. Srđana Tošića. Dobitnik je prve nagrade na desetom Latino‒američkom takmičenju (Competition in the Performance of Music from Spain and Latin America 2007), a iste godine osvaja prvu nagradu i na takmičenju „Indianapolis Musicale“. Njegov debi album „From Choro To Tango“ izdat je 2017. godine u izdanju Asocijacije Gitarista Vojvodine i sadrži  dela Latino-američkih kompozitora originalno napisana za gitaru, a inspirisana latino-američkim popularnim muzičkim formama. Umetnička aktivnost Slobodana Milivojevića obuhvata niz solističkih koncerata i resitala širom Srbije, kao i u inostranstvu (Bosna i Hercegovina, Crna Gora, SAD, Norveška). Njegov repertoar obuhvata veliki broj dela u rasponu od renesanse do muzike dvadesetog veka. Aktivan je i kao kamerni muzičar, a zapažene koncerte ostvaruje u gitarskom triu „Amikus“ zajedno sa gitaristima O. Grčakom i M. Janjićem. Kao izvođač, član žirija i predavač  redovno učestvuje na najznačajnijim gitarskim festivalima u zemlji i regionu. Predaje gitaru u zvanju docenta na Fakultetu umetnosti u Nišu.

 

Serbian guitarist Slobodan Milivojevic was born in 1980 in Knin. He graduated classical guitar with the highest grade at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in class prof. Srdjan Tosic. Having received a full scholarship from Indiana Statate University Bloomington USA, he has completed the highest-level guitar degree program in Prestigious Concert Practice, a prestigious Artist Diploma, working with professors such as Ernesto Biteti and  Nigel Nort. He completed his doctoral studies in 2015 at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, under the mentorship of prof. Srdjan Tosic. He won the first prize at the 10th Latin American Competition in 2007 and won the first prize at the Indianapolis Musicale in the same year. His debut album, „From Choro To Tango“, was released in 2017 by the  Guitarists Association of Vojvodina and features works by Latin-American composers originally written for guitar, and inspired by Latin-American popular music forms. Slobodan Milivojevic’s artistic activity includes a series of solo concerts and recitals throughout Serbia as well as abroad (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, USA, Norway). His repertoire spans a number of works ranging from Renaissance to twentieth-century music. He is also active as a chamber musician, and has performed notable concerts in the guitar trio „Amicus“ with guitarists O. Grcak and M. Janjic. As a performer, jury member and lecturer he regularly participates in the most important guitar festivals in the country and in the region. He teaches guitar in the rank of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
