RULES FOR COMPETITION „DR JOVAN JOVIČIĆ“: 

1. The competition is public and is performed live
2. Categories:

Baby category: born 2014. and younger
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 5 minutes in total

I category: born 2012. and younger
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 8 minutes in total

II category: born 2010. and younger
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 10 minutes in total

III category: born 2008. and younger
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 12 minutes in total

IV category: born 2006. and younger
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 15 minutes in total

V category: no age limit
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 20 minutes in total

Amateur category:
Two or more compositions of different styles and character up to 7 minutes in total

3. Fill out the Application form HERE
and in addition, candidates should send the following documents by e-mail:

– scanned birth certificate
(only for candidates applying to the Festival for the first time)
– high resolution photo (minimum 2 Mpix) 

4. Fill out the application and send the specified documents by e-mail to office@agv.org.rs no later than Friday, May 16, 2025.
5. The fees for participation in the „Dr. Jovan Jovičić“ competition:

Baby category – 3500 RSD / 30€
I category – 4000 RSD / 35€
II category – 4500 RSD / 40€
III category – 5500 RSD / 45€
IV category – 6000 RSD / 50€
V category – 10000 RSD / 85€
Amateur category – 3000 RSD / 25€

and is paid in cash in Novi Sad upon registration before the competition:

**please prepare the correct amount for payment

6. The aditional fee for seminars for a 40-minute class is 3000 dinars / 25€ (except for the class with Z. Krajišnik – 3600 dinars / 30€) and is paid in cash in Novi Sad upon registration.
The number of classes is limited

7. By submitting the application, the contestants accept the rules and conditions of the Festival 
8. By registering for the competition, each participant agrees that the organizer can use the contestant’s personal data for promotional purposes on the official website as well as on social networks.
9. Jury decisions are irrevocable and final
10. In case of cancellation of the candidate, the paid fee is not returned

11. „Altamira„ company gives the „Ganadora“ guitar
The company „Altamira„ is giving prize packages for the most successful competitors
A Salvador Cortez CC-60 guitar worth €600 and merchandise prizes for the competitors are being donated by „SMS Music„ from Novi Sad.
The company „Savarez„ is giving prize packages for the best competitors 
The company „Tonebase„ is giving free lifetime and a free year long memberships
The company „Strings By Mail“ is giving vouchers in total value of 350$
The company „Guitar Salon Belgrade“ is giving 2h i 1h of professional studio audio-video recording
The company „Guitar Salon Belgrade“ is giving: to the winners of the 2nd and 3rd categories – a gift voucher for a 20% discount (valid for one purchase at Guitar Salon Belgrade until December 31, 2025).
„The Art of Classical Guitar“ is giving a one month of free classical guitar course
Special award: Solo concert organized by Belgrade guitar district

12. Again this year, AGV awards the prize for the most successful teacher in the competition, which is named „ANNA-MARGARETHE VUCAK“.
The monetary amount of the award is 30,000 dinars. The sponsor of the award is Elvira Veselinović.

13. All information about the seminars and the competition schedule will be published on our website in a timely manner, VIBER community and social networks
